You will be collected from your riad in Marrakech and driven to the famous Ourika Valley, one of the most popular and visited areas outside Marrakech. This tour takes you on an enjoyable day into the mountain peaks, surrounded by agricultural landscapes and beautiful traditional Berber mud houses scattered throughout the villages.
The first stop of the day is a local Berber market, a short drive from Marrakech at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. It is a great opportunity to discover the daily life of the local population before heading up towards the Ourika Valley. Once you arrive, take some time to explore and experience every aspect of Ourika and appreciate the beauty of this remarkable valley.
You can also follow the Ourika River to the famous village of Setti Fatma, home to a series of seven waterfalls in the upper Ourika Valley. Here, you’ll find a wide range of traditional Berber restaurants where you can enjoy delicious local dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
