These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Journeys Morocco website and to any tour or travel service booked with us. They also explain how we collect and use personal information when you contact us or make a booking. By using journeysmorocco.com, requesting a quotation, or booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms below.
To arrange a tour, we will normally confirm the itinerary, services, dates, number of travelers, and total price with you before the booking is finalized. A booking becomes confirmed once the required deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Journeys Morocco. Please make sure that the information you provide, including travel dates, number of travelers, accommodation requirements, and contact details, is correct.
A 20% deposit of the total tour price is required to confirm a booking. Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, or cash when agreed in advance. Once your arrangements have been confirmed, we will provide the relevant payment details.
The remaining 80% balance is payable according to the payment arrangement agreed with Journeys Morocco, either before or during the trip. Any bank, PayPal, or other payment fees charged by the payment provider are the responsibility of the client unless we have agreed otherwise.
For private tours, we ask that cancellation requests be made at least 15 days before the scheduled departure date. For group tours, cancellation requests should be made at least 7 days before departure. If a booking is cancelled within these periods, a refund may be reduced or unavailable depending on the services already paid for or the cancellation conditions of our suppliers.
Refunds are therefore considered on a case-by-case basis according to the booking and supplier conditions that apply to the reservation. Cancellation requests must be sent by email or WhatsApp. The cancellation date is the date on which Journeys Morocco receives the request.
We are happy to consider reasonable changes to your itinerary, dates, accommodation, or activities. Changes are subject to availability and may involve additional costs.
Occasionally, we may also need to adjust an itinerary because of weather, road conditions, local circumstances, supplier availability, or other situations outside our control. If this happens, we will discuss the changes with you and, where possible, offer a suitable alternative.
We do our best to provide the accommodation and services originally discussed. However, availability may sometimes change. If a selected hotel, riad, or desert camp is unavailable, we may arrange a suitable alternative of a similar standard. Specific room types, bed arrangements, views, and other special requests are subject to availability unless confirmed in writing.
Transportation may include private vehicles, tourist vehicles, 4x4s, or other suitable vehicles depending on the itinerary, group size, availability, and road conditions. Clients are expected to follow reasonable safety instructions from their driver or guide.
Tours may also include activities such as camel rides, desert excursions, 4×4 trips, hiking, cooking classes, quad or buggy rides, and other local experiences. Some activities involve physical activity and a certain level of risk, so clients should consider their own abilities and inform us in advance of any relevant requirements or limitations.
Activities may occasionally need to be changed, postponed, or cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, local conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will offer a suitable alternative.
We ask our clients to respect local customs, communities, accommodation providers, guides, drivers, and other people involved in their trip. Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during the journey and should take reasonable care of their valuables. If a client causes damage to a hotel, riad, vehicle, desert camp, equipment, or other property, any resulting costs may be charged to the client.
Journeys Morocco takes reasonable care when selecting and arranging the services included in each tour. Some services, however, are provided by independent suppliers, including hotels, riads, desert camps, guides, drivers, and activity providers. We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for losses resulting from the actions or omissions of independent suppliers. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Sometimes events outside anyone’s control can affect travel arrangements. These may include severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, civil disturbances, health emergencies, or other unforeseen events. When this happens, we will do our best to assist you, adjust the itinerary where possible, and find practical alternatives.
If something goes wrong during your trip, please let us know as soon as possible. Giving us the opportunity to address an issue while you are still travelling often allows us to resolve it quickly. Any complaint should be raised as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, while the relevant service is being provided.
We will review complaints fairly and make reasonable efforts to resolve them.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Morocco. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Moroccan laws and legal procedures. We may update these terms when necessary. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
