Fez is considered one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. It is known for its stunning architecture, rich cultural heritage, and bustling markets, and its historic medina has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visitors can explore the narrow alleyways and winding streets of the medina, home to numerous historic landmarks and traditional workshops. This full-day itinerary with a local guide offers an introduction to Fez’s rich history and culture, including the Bou Inania Madrasa, Dar Batha Museum, and Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, one of the oldest and most important mosques in Morocco.
The tour also includes a visit to the Royal Palace, where visitors can admire its impressive gates and ornate architecture from the outside, as well as the Mellah quarter, established in the 15th century and one of the city’s most historic Jewish quarters.
