This day trip allows you to discover some of Fez’s most important historical sites with a local guide. Start with a visit to the Royal Palace, the official residence of the King of Morocco when he visits the city.

Next, head to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Fez, where you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the Medina. Then, visit a local pottery workshop and discover the traditional craftsmanship of Fez.

Afterward, your guide will take you on a walking tour through the Medina, visiting some of its most famous historical monuments. The Medina of Fez was founded in the 9th century and was included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. It is also home to Al-Qarawiyyin, one of the world’s oldest universities.

Take your time to admire the beautiful historic buildings and traditional homes while discovering the stories and history behind them.

FEZ ⤍ MEKNES ⤍ VOLUBILIS ⤍ CHEFCHAOUEN

In the morning, after breakfast, we drive to Meknes, a city known for its impressive historical sites and monuments. Our visit starts with Bab Mansour Gate, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco. Built in the 18th century, the gate is beautifully decorated with intricate tilework and carvings.

We then visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the final resting place of Sultan Moulay Ismail, followed by the Royal Stables, which are known for their impressive size and historical importance.

After exploring Meknes, we continue to Volubilis, one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in Morocco. Here, you’ll discover well-preserved ruins, including the remains of public buildings, temples, and private houses.

One of the most interesting things about Volubilis is the way Roman and indigenous cultures come together. The architecture combines Roman and local styles, while the beautiful mosaics and carvings reflect the culture and traditions of the local Berber people.

CHEFCHAOUEN GUIDED TOUR WITH A LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE

Explore Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco, with a local guide. The town is famous for its blue-painted buildings and peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely place to explore at a relaxed pace.

Walk through the narrow alleyways and charming streets with your guide and visit some of the town’s main landmarks, including the Grand Mosque, the Kasbah, and the Ethnographic Museum. Along the way, your guide will tell you more about the town and its history.

You’ll also have some free time to enjoy the small cafés and restaurants and try traditional Moroccan food. Take a walk through the blue streets, enjoy the atmosphere, and don’t forget to take some photos along the way.

CHEFCHAOUEN⤍ RABAT ⤍ CASABLANCA

After breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen and drive to Rabat. Once we arrive, we’ll have some time to enjoy lunch before exploring the city.

Our visit will include some of Rabat’s main historical sites, starting with the beautiful Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower, one of the city’s best-known landmarks.

We’ll then explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, a charming historic neighborhood with blue-and-white streets, traditional houses, views of the ocean, and the lovely Andalusian Garden.

After that, we’ll visit Chellah, a historic site where ancient Roman ruins and medieval Islamic architecture come together. The site is surrounded by gardens and is also known for the storks’ nests found among the old ruins.

At the end of the day, we continue to Casablanca for the night.

CASABLANCA VISIT ⤍ MARRAKECH

Today, we’ll spend the morning exploring Casablanca, a modern city on the Atlantic coast and one of Morocco’s main centers of business, industry, and finance.

We’ll start at Mohammed V Square, one of the city’s lively central areas. It’s a nice place to see everyday life in Casablanca and admire the mix of traditional and modern architecture.

From there, we’ll visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, beautifully set right on the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the largest mosques in Africa and one of Casablanca’s most remarkable landmarks.

We’ll then take a relaxing walk along the Corniche, enjoying the ocean views and the palm-lined promenade. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and beach clubs along the way, making it a great place to take a break and enjoy the seaside atmosphere. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we’ll leave Casablanca and drive towards Marrakech. Overnight at your riad/hotel in Marrakech.

MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR WITH A LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE

This day trip let you to visit historical sites with a local guide, including Bahia Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces in Marrakech, built in the late 19th century. From there, we’ll visit the Saadian Tombs, which date back to the late 16th century.

Next, we’ll visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an Islamic school founded in the 14th century by the Almoravid Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf. After that, we’ll walk through the narrow streets of the Medina towards Jemaa El-Fna Square. The streets are full of small shops and market stalls selling handmade crafts, jewelry, and other local products. Jemaa El-Fna is the main square in Marrakech and the entrance to the souks, where local merchants come to sell their goods. When it’s time for lunch, we’ll stop at a local restaurant and enjoy some traditional Moroccan dishes.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Majorelle Garden, a beautiful botanical garden created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the early 20th century. The garden later became closely connected with fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

Today, enjoy some free time until it’s time to transfer to Marrakech Airport for your flight to your next destination.
