  • 1st Day (349km): High Atlas Scenery & UNESCO Heritage
    MARRAKESH ⤍ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS⤍ AÏT BENHADDOU KASBAH ⤍ ROSES VALLEY ⤍ DADES GORGES

    This full-day trip includes visits to historical monuments. We’ll make our way to Aït Benhaddou through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, at an altitude of 2,680 m. We’ll stop here for some local morning refreshments, and you’ll also have the opportunity to visit a local women’s cooperative producing Argan oil (optional).

    Later, we’ll continue our journey towards the south. En route, we’ll make stops at various wonderful places, with opportunities to take photos of the Berber villages along the way. After lunch we will take time to freshen up and relax before we visit the Kasbah. Aït Benhaddou is a kasbah and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Aït Benhaddou has served as a filming location for movies such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Black Hawk Down, The Message and the acclaimed series Game of Thrones.

    Next we will travel to Kalaat M’Gouna, known as the City of Roses a resort town in Morocco. Kalaat M’Gouna is a Berber town famous for its annual Rose Festival, in May. From Kalaat M’Gouna we can enjoy views of the Valley of Roses.

  • 2nd Day (305km): Dramatic Gorges & Sahara Desert Experience
    DADES GORGES ⤍ TODRA GORGES ⤍ ERFOUD ⤍ MERZOUGA DESERT

    Get ready for an early start to discover the landscapes of this area. Our first stop of the day will be the winding road in the Dades Valley. It is a gorge carved out by the Dades River, which separates the High Atlas Mountains from the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Then, we’ll visit an interesting geological feature known locally as the “Monkey Fingers.” Afterward, we’ll continue to the Todra River, where you’ll have the opportunity to admire wonderful panoramic views of the oasis along the Todra River.

    Next, we’ll continue our drive to the Todra Gorge. It’s a lovely stop along the route to the Sahara Desert, featuring high limestone cliffs rising up to 300 meters. The landscape of this place, even in summer, leaves a deep impression. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Todra.

    Our next stop of the day will be Merzouga village. From there, you’ll enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the high sand dunes. Once we arrive, you’ll end your day with a camel ride to the desert camp, which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, including a stop to relax and enjoy the sunset over the dunes. You’ll spend the night in a fully equipped Berber desert camp, accompanied by traditional local folk songs. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars and spend the night in the desert camp.

  • 3rd Day (370km): Desert Traditions, Cultural Heritage & Oasis Landscapes
    MERZOUGA DESERT ⤍ RISSANI ⤍ ALNIF ⤍ TAMNOUGALT KASBAH ⤍  AGDZ OUARZAZATE

    Early in the morning, you’ll climb the dunes to watch the sunrise. It’s a truly memorable experience! After that you'll head back to the camp to enjoy a typical breakfast. Once you finish breakfast we will leave for Rissani. We are going to visit the Rissani Souk, which's a traditional market that is always full of life and has so many different things to see. You can walk past stalls that sell spices, textiles, pottery and much more. The Rissani Souk is an important place for culture and trade in this area and the Rissani Souk gives you a real look at how people live in Morocco every day.

    Next we will drive to Tamnougalt. There we will walk through the kasbah and the palm grove oasis. Kasbah Tamnougalt sits in the Draa River Valley. Is a famous old fort that people believe was built back in the 16th century. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Tamnougalt. After lunch we will drive toward the town of Agdz. As we drive you will see views of the palm oasis from the mountain.

  • 4th Day (193km): Cinematic Heritage & High Atlas Landscapes
    TAOURIRT KASBAH ⤍ ATLAS STUDIOS ⤍ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS ⤍ MARRAKECH

    Today, we’ll have some free time to explore the city of Ouarzazate before leaving for Marrakech. First, we’ll visit the ancient Kasbah of Ouarzazate, Taourirt. It is one of the most outstanding monuments in the city and is included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was built in the 19th century by the El Glaoui tribe. Take some photos of this impressive kasbah and enjoy some free time to explore the area.

    Next, we’ll visit Atlas Studios. It is one of the largest film studios in the world and a popular tourist destination. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Marrakech, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way.
