8-Day Morocco Coastal Cities Tour

ARRIVAL AT CASABLANCA AIRPORT (CMN)

Welcome to Morocco! Your guide will pick you up at the Airport to your hotel in Casablanca.

CASABLANCA ⤍ EL JADIDA ⤍ OUALIDIA

Today, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca and head to our first stop: the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, with its stunning architecture and towering minaret reaching 210 meters.

Next, we’ll visit the mosque’s library, home to a vast collection of Islamic manuscripts and historical texts, reflecting its architectural and cultural significance. Following our visit to the mosque, we’ll proceed to Mohamed V Square, known for its striking colonial-era buildings and cultural significance.

We’ll then drive to El Jadida, approximately 1.5 hours away, where you can enjoy lunch before exploring the city. Known as Mazagan in Berber, El Jadida is a historic Portuguese city on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. We’ll discover the old Medina and the Portuguese walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the restored consulate, the church, and the Jewish Mausoleum to appreciate the city’s colonial past, architectural blend, and diverse cultural heritage.

Finish your day by exploring the Palais Andalous, a beautifully restored 19th-century building that exemplifies traditional Moroccan architecture, with intricate tilework, elegant courtyards, and ornate details.

OUALIDIA ⤍ SAFI ⤍ ESSAOUIRA

On the third day, take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque beach. Enjoy a boat trip to explore the lagoon, unwind on the dune-swept sands, and visit the remains of an old Portuguese fort, offering beautiful views overlooking the lagoon.

Next, we’ll drive to Safi, where we’ll start with a visit to the ancient Portuguese fortress, offering panoramic views of the coastline, before exploring the old Medina. Browse the pottery and ceramics quarter on Rue du Souk, and visit the Colline des Potiers, Safi’s renowned pottery district, to see local artisans at work. Take a relaxing walk along the beach and savor fresh seafood at a local restaurant.

ESSAOUIRA GUIDED TOUR WITH A LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE

After breakfast, enjoy a day in Essaouira with a local licensed guide. Essaouira, also known as Mogador, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. Wander through the historic Medina and discover its landmarks, including the souk, the Medina gates, the Sqala du Port, and the city’s ramparts. Don’t miss the platform by the sea, featuring historic cannons and stunning views of the coastline.

Enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery and savor some of the best local seafood in the area. Finally, take a leisurely stroll along the beachfront or the ramparts, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere of this charming coastal town.

ESSAOUIRA ⤍ AGADIR

Today, our destination is Agadir. After breakfast, we’ll drive to Agadir with a local licensed guide. The city is renowned for its stunning beaches, modern resorts, and bustling marina. With its pleasant climate, Agadir offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

Once we arrive, we’ll visit Agadir Oufella, also known as the Agadir Kasbah, a historic site offering stunning panoramic views of Agadir and the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we’ll head to the marina area, where you’ll find cafés, restaurants, and shops.

Relax on the golden sands of Agadir Beach, where you can soak up the sun, enjoy the gentle sea breeze, and experience beachfront dining before concluding your exploration and relaxing at your hotel in Agadir.

AGADIR ⤍ TIZI N'TEST ⤍ OUIRGANE VALLEY ⤍ MARRAKECH

Experience an amazing day of adventure in the High Atlas Mountains. After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Agadir with a local licensed guide and head to our first destination of the day, Tizi n’Test.

Tizi n’Test is a high mountain pass in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, reaching an elevation of about 2,100 meters. Known for its dramatic landscapes and winding roads, it offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. After crossing the pass, we’ll visit the picturesque village of Ouirgane, nestled in a lush valley surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks.

MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR WITH A LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE

This day tour allows you to explore the historical sites of Marrakech with a local licensed guide. Start with a visit to the Bahia Palace, an exquisite palace built in the late 19th century. Next, explore the Saadian Tombs, constructed in the late 16th century.

Discover the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an Islamic school founded in the 14th century by Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf, and the El Badi Palace, built in the late 16th century by Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. Stroll through the narrow alleyways of the Medina towards Jemaa El-Fna Square, where you’ll encounter an array of market stalls selling handcrafted items and jewelry. Jemaa El-Fna is the city’s main square and gateway to the souks, bustling with merchants and local goods.

Enjoy a delicious local lunch and savor the flavors of the regional cuisine. Finish the day with a visit to the Majorelle Garden, a renowned botanical garden designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the early 20th century and now owned by the Fondation Jardin Majorelle.

Today, you will be at leisure until your transfer to Marrakech Airport for your flight onwards to your next destination, thereby concluding the tour.
