MARRAKESH ⤍ TAOURIRT KASBAH ⤍ DRAA VALLEY ⤍ ZAGORA
You will begin the first day of this two-day package with a pick-up from your Marrakech hotel/riad to the authentic south of Morocco, followed by a stop at the Tizi n'Tichka Mountain Pass at 2,260 m. Next, we'll make a brief stop for a cup of coffee in the peaks of the mountains. You will be introduced to a local women's cooperative producing Argan oil and shown how to extract it from the trees and use it in cosmetics and traditional treatments. After that, we'll continue on to the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate, passing through successive mountain villages, and we'll make stops at various wonderful landscapes.
Following our arrival at Taourirt Kasbah, it will be time for lunch before exploring the kasbah. Taourirt Kasbah is an outstanding building and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 19th century by the El Glaoui tribe. Next, you'll go to the desert camp in Zagora through the famous palm grove of the Draa Valley. Once we arrive in Zagora, you will end your day with a one-hour camel ride to the Zagora desert camp as you witness the sunset. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, spend the night with the beat of local traditional folk songs and dancing around the campfire.
