Zagora Desert and Dunes Tour for 2 Days

Marrakesh – Taourirt Kasbah – Draa Valley – Zagora

You will begin the first day of this two-day package with a pick up from your Marrakech hotel to authentic south of Morocco, followed by a stop at Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass 2,260m. Next, we’ll making a brief stop for a cup of coffee in the peaks of the mountains. You will be introduced to the a local ladies’s cooperative of Argan oil and shown how to extract it from the trees and use it in cosmetics and treatment. After that, we’ll continue on to the Kasbah of Taourirt at Ouarzazate pass through successive mountain villages, we’ll make stops by various wonderful landscapes.
Following the Taourirt Kasbah arrive, it will be time for lunch before embarking to discover the kasbah. Taourirt Kasbah is an outstanding building and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 19th century by the El Glaoui tribe. Next you’ll go to the desert camp at Zagora through the famous palm grove of Draa valley. Once we arrive to Zagora, you will end your day with a one-hour camel ride to zagora desert camp as you witness the sunset. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, spend the night with the beat of locals traditional folk songs with dance around the camp fire.

Zagora – Cinema Studio Atlas – Aït Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakesh

Early morning, you will have the opportunity to discover the magic of a sunrise in the desert before having a typical breakfast. After that you’ll be return in the saddle of your camel to go up to the waiting transportation where you will be driven back to Marrakech. On our way back, we’ll have plenty of time to discover Cinema Studio Atlas of Ouarzazate. It’s the largest film studio in the world and popular tourist destination. Next you’ll go to historical Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, where you will be introduced to the one of most famous places in Morocco. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch before going to discover the kasbah.
Aït Benhaddou is a UNESCO heritage site and historic kasbah preserved from the 11th century. It has also been used for filming various movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Lawrence of Arabia, The Message and series Game of Thrones. Following Aït Benhaddou, we will make our way towards Marrakech and and transferred to your Hotel.
